Jail's really not that bad. I'd argue that ktfoing someone in exchange for 12 hrs of processing and some community service is a pretty fair deal It makes traveling abroad a pain in the ass, though. |

The SAVE thing is the only thing that finally simplified getting my remaining student loans out of default and back into a healthy repayment plan. Before that I was literally so frozen in fear over tackling that mountain of shit, I just out of sight/out of minded it for several years. If these ghouls take it away and impose some "tough shit, liberal fraggle" thing in its place, I am openly swinging on Trump people and going to jail for the first time in my life. i hear you but you have to remember that Trump won the popular vote this year so the country is leaning more republican these days. Even a blue state like California isn't as blue as it used to be. Counties including Orange County, Riverside, San Bernardino, Inyo, Fresno, Merced, Butte, Nevada, San Joaquin, and Stanislaus counties all flipped from blue to red in 2024. With that said there are progressive liberals out there for example my brother and I just saw Modest Mouse last week and a dude with a Free Palestine Phillies hat offered me free edibles. I politely declined because I am a responsible adult who had work the next morning. However, I assure you ladies and gentlemen that man did not vote for Trump. I met his wife as well who had a "don't bully me or I'll cum" shirt which was interesting.... Basically what I'm trying to say all the hip liberals are still at the indie rock and punk shows but I caution here because most of all of them don't have their lives together at all. |

It's hard to imagine the housing market getting worse but the already dying dream of home ownership is going to be completely eradicated for anybody with student loans if the repayment plans get phased out. |
