Yeah, if I’m thinking strictly in terms of my own self-interest narrowly conceived, the Harris-Walz ticket is incomparably better. The GOP-controlled house quite literally kept me from getting hired on full-time for months for no actual reason. musta sucked, like when railroad strikers didn't get what they wanted when gov forced a contract on them. |

I used to think it would be awesome to be a trust fund kid, but then I realized that my childhood/adolescence would have been really boring compared to the reckless poor fun I had with stuff like eating hamburger helper every night paired with a big cup of Coca Cola, jumping my bike off a piece of rotting plywood sketchily stacked on some unstable bricks, my ant/roach infested house, Tony’s meth addiction, etc…

America is still one of the best places to live in the world, especially in terms of earning and stability. A Republican Party full of conspiracy theorists, religious crazies, antivaxxers, coupled with a domestic and foreign policy agenda that dismisses empathy, is worse for the world, worse for the country, and worse for me/my career than the democrats.

Even the best examples of affordable housing programs have that problem. |
