I really don't see any other way to describe it. They staked a front line and followed him from behind. Then ducked filming the confrontation. Sort of, but with the collapse of the UMWA it’s mega rare to find even a Union man that’s blue. Maybe pre trump, but post trump? ‘Friends of coal’ stickers are more common than license plates in coal country...hell, only in the last year have I started to see Kentucky miners flip on Moscow Mitch. It’s only my second time organically coming across a Biden supporter, the others being an Old Brookville neohippieliberal bro driving a Jeep with the doors off |

not miners but I've seen several vehicles around here with IBEW, UAW, or Teamsters stickers and also Biden stickers I’m not acutely familiar with any of those unions/workers, but the UMWA has been pretty messy. I think it was the mid-late 80s when the union backstabbed striking union miners(the union president literally crossed the picket line iirc), and companies like Massey Energy(upper big branch mine disaster) capitalized on the event to bust the union up. Even still I’m pretty sure the union is officially red |
