Been smoking pretty much all weekend, although got quite a bit done around the house nonetheless.

can’t find the post but I remember you saying you use your pax for concentrate. Any luck cleaning that little attachment oven for them? I cannot get the thing anywhere remotely clean. Taking a tolerance break rn and using this dilemma to distract myself.

Can somebody give a foolproof recommendation for cleaning a big compiled ball of THC/shit out of the water chamber of a bubbler? Or recommend their pipe cleaner home recipe?

Been using a combination of super hot water and isopropyl alcohol... not breaking the ball of shit down enough.

I've been seeing people say "fill it with rubbing alcohol + salt and shake it around" but the bubbler isn't that big and shaking that shit around doesn't do much.

I'll be happy when I've got that bong and don't have to bother as much with this.

if you fill it with iso and let it sit overnight that should break down a lot of the resin. super hot water should help too. you can even put it in a pot of boiling water as long as it's quality glass, I had a friend who used to clean his pipes that way.

it sounds like you wen't way too long without cleaning the thing. in general cleaning your pieces is always faster and easier the more often you do it.

Letting it soak in iso is the correct answer. I usually soak mine in a baggy for at least a few hours but ideally overnight or most of the day. After that you can add some coarse grain salt to act as an abrasive and shake it hard for longer than you think you should. I get my bubbler 95% clean this way.

If there's an especially big clump of resin you could try stabbing at it with a paper clip or bobby pin or whatever you have around that can get in there.

Boiling water comes thru if you have one of those flamboyant glass pieces with a lot of crevices and curved piping that wen't too long without a proper cleaning. As everyone else has said, iso and salt. If you need something more heavy duty than iso and salt, go to your local head shop and get 420cleaner.

I've definitely tried cleaning it previously but could never get much out, so it just reaccumulated junk again.

Tried to use a twisted up paper clip to break it up into chunks but couldn't get a satisfactory angle.

I was concerned using boiling water because there seems to be some soft plastic bits lining the interior, didn't want to warp/clog anything.

I'll snag some more iso and just let the fucker sit in there/boiling water overnight. Now that I've got a bong, I'm not as hung up on using the bubbler as a "daily".

i've come to rave about CBN. if you are having any muscle pains, add some to a good edible dose of THC before bed for super restorative sleep. i dosed two nights in a row (10mg CBN, 200mg THC) and feel like i got a weeks worth of rest/repair on my shoulder. it works as an agonist on your cannabinoid receptors. i also got a mellow, muscle relaxing buzz from a drink that had 2mg CBN, 10mg THC and 10mg wouldn't even bite me normally.

How long does it usually take before your appetite starts to return SOMEWHAT back to normal? I stopped smoking 100% on... Wednesday maybe? And even then it was only one or two tiny bowls, because I purposely didn't re-up in anticipation of taking a break. I was smoking probably 6-8 bowls per day on average for months.

I ask because I've got about 4-5 things working against my body currently (THC break, quit caffeine, sadboi stuff related to my family/dads passing this winter, and a phantom abdominal issue that seemed to baffle ER doctors) so any evidence that this is largely THC-break related would be pretty tight. Thanks board.

That’s an interesting side effect, whenever I wen't on a break I never really had issues with appetite or eating.  Falling asleep the first 2-3 days after was always pretty hard but nothing really to do with food.


My buddy sent me a bunch of seeds so when it gets warmer I’m going to try a small outdoor grow.  Apparently the PNW has a really good climate for outdoor growing?  He also sent me a syringe of shroomie spores so I’ve been looking into that as well, which seems significantly easier than growing dense nuggs of fat buds honestly.
