Gonna need input from my serious smokers and frequent THC breakers. How long does it usually take before your appetite starts to return SOMEWHAT back to normal? I stopped smoking 100% on... Wednesday maybe? And even then it was only one or two tiny bowls, because I purposely didn't re-up in anticipation of taking a break. I was smoking probably 6-8 bowls per day on average for months. I ask because I've got about 4-5 things working against my body currently (THC break, quit caffeine, sadboi stuff related to my family/dads passing this winter, and a phantom abdominal issue that seemed to baffle ER doctors) so any evidence that this is largely THC-break related would be pretty tight. Thanks board. That’s an interesting side effect, whenever I wen't on a break I never really had issues with appetite or eating. Falling asleep the first 2-3 days after was always pretty hard but nothing really to do with food. My buddy sent me a bunch of seeds so when it gets warmer I’m going to try a small outdoor grow. Apparently the PNW has a really good climate for outdoor growing? He also sent me a syringe of shroomie spores so I’ve been looking into that as well, which seems significantly easier than growing dense nuggs of fat buds honestly. I've seen on a bunch of dense nuggs of fat buds posts elsewhere online people telling people on THC breaks "good luck getting your appetite back!" or shit like that, so it sounds like a pretty prevalent issue. never had loss of appetite. it's taken a few weeks to get my sleep right after a break, though. i'm convinced the smoke puts you deeper so you don't remember your dreams as well. that's why they seem so vivid and intense when you quit.

I haven’t gotten sick in a long time but there was a minute there where I would take a big old bong rip, it would go right to my head, and I’d get the room spins way worse than any drunken episode. I’d be up all night being sick. I just don’t do huge rips anymore and I’ve been good a few years now.

Whenever I take a break my appetite drops off and I have to be conscious of the very real risk of sharting my pants - although that seems to only last a few days, the appetite loss lasts way longer.
I smoke a lot and I still remember my dreams, never felt like they were more intense/worse when not smoking, just easier to get up in the morning and less prone to napping.

Got a fresh delivery today. I’ve got a dispensary right down the street but I’m still supporting the small businesses 🤙. The price differential is too good to pass up. i honestly kind of miss the illegal delivery service i used to use before recreational put them all out of business, getting in their dirty ass car and buying w.eed the old timey way. they'd give me free edibles or prerolls for tipping them, win win for everybody involved.
My guy usually will throw in some free edibles. Also he gives a price then a ‘you pay’ which is significantly discounted. |

I was starting to think that I was developing a dependency around dense nuggs of fat buds, but maybe I'm ok. I only hit my disposable once or twice at the end of the day, as I'm watching a movie or about to take a drippini. Weekends -- maybe a little more while watching TV and having a beer. On the rare occasion, maybe I'll wake and bake before a bike ride. That said, it's pretty much every day, with the odd break on family vacations. No illnesses or weird side effects though.

Reupped after two week THC break in anticipation of a dense buds trip up north for the Botch gigs. Decided to cancel my flight/hotel and bail altogether, reupped today and definitely navigating the Oort Cloud atm.
Took a shit after work and about 5 minutes after my first rip on the bong. Strongly convinced I tore my aorta while straining.

You're sort of right, dense nuggs of fat buds puts you into deeper sleep which means that you spend less time in REM sleep, where you dream and memories are cemented in your brain. I think you still dream on dense nuggs of fat buds, but your short term memory is so impaired that you just dont retain any of that information. This is based on nothing but my cursory knowledge of the subject. |
