it has a plant-y, forest-y smell/taste that is reminiscent of crappy outdoor. it is a very subtle thing. for me cbd is best experienced with thc. by itself isn't a good example of its effects.

i don't know what kind of stoner you are but i always suggest cbdxthc when you're doing something you don't like being stoned for. grocery shopping, buying pants at the mall, whatever. that's when you see what cbd is bringing to the table.

i think i got like 60+ hours of trimming to do.

next season definitely buying one of those machines with the homies because i am currently overwhelmed by dank.

I've been in this cycle for the last 3 weeks too. Down to just three tops left to trim. Totally worth it regardless of the input. After growing only 4 plants (first time), I'm now sitting on what I usually go through in a year!

I definitely did a half assed job trimming my plants before hanging them up. I'll probably try to manicure the buds a little before I start curing them this weekend but I'm okay with it being a little shaggy.

Again, my first time doing this, but I removed all the larger fan leaves, or any without "sugar" before hanging up to dry. Post drying, I trimmed the remaining leaf off the bud, and they look pretty much like anything I would buy normally. I probably trimmed a little too aggressively, but I'm saving all the trim for edibles so it's not getting wasted... but I will be!

thats pretty much how I'm doing it too. there's so many contrasting apinions online about how much to trim and what stage but I figured I was safe this way.

anybody dealing with bugs? my buddy was like "dude, you've paid for bugs before". I got a bit of aphids as expected. I'm considering doing a wash but that might take all day, and i think since i'm making hash i shouldn't worry too much.

anyway this is all gonna get made into bubble hash. it is pouring rain today and i am nervous af and outside 3-4 times today with a leaf blower (in the rain) looking like a psycho.

I used a regiment of neem oil every 1-2 weeks as soon as I noticed some pest activity. It was probably two months or so before flowering. I stopped just before it flowered and never saw another pest on them. Probably at least 50% luck too though.

Question for anybody that grows: is it a bad sign that I hung up my plants 12 days ago and they’re still not dry? They’ve made some progress but they’re still super sticky and soft and the stems still have a lot of purchase to them. They don’t have any signs of mildew that I can see, they’re just taking a long as time to dry. Is there anyway I can do to speed up the process other than spending money on a dehumidifier?

i'm not really sure but that seems like a tremendous amount of time to dry out.

lately i've been moving nugs to jars after drying for 48 hours and they seem pretty dry.

to each their own, but i believe the machines will vastly compromise your quality, as well as potency of your end result

i typically do 10-12 days. lot of variables at play. idk what your set up is like so it's hard to give much direction. do you know how measurably humid the drying area is?
