I don’t even order records online in the summer anymore, worries me too much. I just go to the used store now and pick up stuff I want my kid to discover when she’s older

Providence. Bought a condo a couple blocks away. Today I switched out my Dropdead - 1998 st for the remaster, and got Wipers - Over the Edge Poison Idea - War All the Time I’d say that’s my fav of the two but I’ve only been to the Boston location once. Be sure to check out Analog Underground. It’s on the same street closer to the highway. I'll have to check that. I've been going to this store intermittently for 15 years, really the first record store I made it a point to check out. Something to be said for each one but the parking in PVD definitely beats Cambridge. |

I wen't into a record store today for the first time since Covid. It was kind of lame going through the used section and seeing that like 1/5 of the records were RSD releases from the last few years. I have yet to ever buy a RSD record.
Also, I'm travelling a bunch this summer for school, and I'm now stoked to check out record shops in places I have never been to. If anyone has been to shops in Tulsa, Lincoln (NE), or Rapid City, let me know which spots (if any) are the best for punk/metal.

How does the STS boot sound? sounds good/ close to the original. I am guessing it's mastered from the CD version. My big complaint is that they blew up an image for the cover that probably shoudl have been higher DPI. The back image circle (black sails sans boat) isn't as sharp as I want. |
