Sleep - Iommic Life. Both 12" EPs reissued in a gatefold jacket. New artwork, new etchings. Not mandatory if you have the originals but it does look pretty cool.

Picked up Satyricon’s reissues of their first two. Also the Enslaved cinematic tour albums because I’m in too deep not to be a completionist.
Today at the used shop I found Judas Priest- Rocka Rolla, a Gull records press, and also Nektar “Journey to the Center of the Eye” original German press, $10 for both.

I liberated my copy of Pain of Mind from my college radio station in 1992. At the time it was 4-5 years out of print, had not yet been repressed, and was damn near impossible to find. Up until running past it in the stacks I had never actually seen a copy in person, nor heard it. It was the only thing I ever took from there (though I did seed their archive with my own band's 7"). Shout out to WHUS in Storrs CT. |
