My sister’s whole identity is “military wife and mom” never had a job and is going on 32. We used to get along but I said something along the lines of these Trump worshiping weirdos being our version of the Taliban. Out of nowhere I get a response telling me I’m brainwashed and hate America (not entirely far off). I guess my family is dropping like flies.

The fact that games like Call Of Duty are selling as well as they are speaks to a deep societal rot, considering how literally anyone I know who has actually served in the armed forces avoids those games like the plague and the only people I see buy them are angsty white teenagers and these fucking dickless lawn gnome looking adults who look like children. They think buying guns makes them into some sort of sleeper agent superhero. Right wing media is still allowed to regurgitate right wing gun industry funded propaganda which really begs the question what’s the end game here? What up Tipper Gore? About 5 dollars per beer. |

So Richmond Police arrested two immigrants based on the tip. They found two rifles and about 200 rounds of ammo, but nothing as far as what their plan supposedly was (police chief said that info regarding the target is from the tip they got). They arrested one of the guys on July 1st, but didn't arrest the other guy until July 5th because they didn't have probably cause(seriously?). They also didn't alert any of the organizations holding events about an active threat.
I'm sure more will come out, but it feels like there's a lot of important info missing.

200 rounds of ammo does not seem like a lot of ammo for this kind of thing. I’d imagine that’s on the low side for the average gun owner that hits up the gun range somewhat frequently. Something definitely seems kind of off about this.
