My daughter shat through her diaper, clothing, sheets, and mattress liner on Sunday, then while running the associated laundry load, the washing machine died. It was an ancient toploader that came with the house and Lowe's happened to have a sale last week so whatever, but the bad timing on appliance breakdowns is like clockwork.

Got concrete poured and drains put in the yard after the fucking winter monsoons we got. We had horrible flooding in the yard and it pooled on our patio and was gathering against the house. The concrete looks awesome, but these fuckers had no idea what they were doing with the drainage. I tested it and the yard drains don't drain properly at all. I'm basically going to have to tell them to start over. Also, fucking patio covers are way too expensive.

I legitimately thought about a justification for buying it, but my lot is only a quarter acre so I don't own scythin' land. One day.

The model’s whole ensemble in that ad is exquisite. Pleated stonewashed cargo jeans with scythe stone holster 😘👌
Edit: plus what appears to be loafers

Odd. My first thought about that was "how badly/quickly would Sean injure himself with that thing?"

I had carpenter ants last month. Had a guy come out and I guess he found the nest out in my backyard. He said he's seen nests 100ft from the house.
Sprayed outside and inside along the walls and haven't seen any since. Money well spent.

Sprayed outside and inside along the walls and haven't seen any since. Money well spent. This is good to hear because it's one of my worst nightmares owning home made before wood was treated. I live in a wooded area so there are lots of carpenter ants around, but they are seldom seen in the house (so far). I've spent three weeks working on the bathroom ceiling. Closed up an old ceiling fan/heater that has not worked since before we moved in (10 years ago). A lot harder than I thought since we have vermiculite in the attic so I could not remove the fixture. Removed some cracked and bubbling ceiling texture over the drippini (no mold, yay!). Found a soft spot over the sink where someone did a half assed mud job to repair what I assume was water damage because when I pulled it down it was COVERED in black mold. Treated all of that with hydrogen peroxide, sealed it with a mold-killing primer, and mudded it back up to finish. Finally at the point where I can spray ceiling texture back on the spots I repaired, prime and paint. Only took about two weeks longer than I expected.

I have a VERY old and rusty scythe I took from my parents house when my Mom downsized. Complete with the classic curvy wooden handle and hand grips. I have NO NEED for it whatsoever but wasn't about to let her throw out something that cool

What gateway did you get? We have an Enphase system and the app is pretty dope. Since our system wen't live in April, we've produced 2.5 MW. Our provider is net zero, so we have produced enough to theoretically get us through December without using extra energy from the grid. A couple more good summer months should get us through the winter. Pretty happy so far. Must be great in So Cal! I’m not sure what a lot of this means, but I do know we haven’t paid for electricity since they turned it on! We don’t have the option to “bank” any watts without a battery, I am jealous!

I need some help trying to change a faucet. The new apartment we got is old and the faucet in the bathroom is dripping. I understand what I need to do but I cant figure out how to get the old hose (its also metal) unattached due to the size of the sink and the narrow hole. BiL, help me. Pat and whoever else.

I dont have a small pair so was waiting for board to tell me what to buy before running to the hardware store. I hate making two trips.
The opening is maybe 2.5" while the bolt is about an 1". Not sure how much space for movement id have with a channel lock
