I didn’t see any articles about that if so. So many celebrities over the years have gotten away with actual crimes and kept their jobs and status. Bad Batch has been tight and leaks for the Obi-Wan series make it sound like it's going to be bonkers. Why the FUCK have the shows been so consistently good while the movies have been a mixed bag? Just let Filoni run everything creatively.

Uggh, I never finished Clone Wars but really want to start Bad Batch. I maybe made it like halfway through, am I good?? There should be guides online that will tell you the arcs that are more essential. Things like the droid or Jar Jar episodes obviously don't contribute much to the lore. I wouldn't skip over anything in the last season that they added to Disney+ though. It's pretty much all good (the Ahsoka arc was maybe one episode too long) and introduces you to the team from the Bad Batch. |

Book of Boba Fett this week. I've read that everything we've seen so far is from the first twen'ty minutes of the first episode, so they're most likely hiding some cool shit here. I'm expecting Bossk, Dengar, Cad Bane, etc. No idea what to expect from the storyline.

First episode was clunky as hell. Fight scenes were not good. Music doesn't fit. Sarlacc pit was cool, but I kinda wanted a bit more from that whole situation.
Maybe teh Mandelorian spoiled me, it's almost flawless. But BOBF isn't off to the best start IMO. We'll see how other directors handle other episodes.

Agreed that it wasn't a great episode. I really hope they drop the flashback stuff and focus on the present as it just isn't that interesting.

My wife was kind of shocked and couldn't believe that this was made by the same people who did Mandalorian. Wonder what the justification is for such a noticeable drop in quality. Trying to get a series out the door for as little as possible is the obvious answer, but I really feel like Star Wars needs nothing but wins for a little bit with how the sequel trilogy was ultimately received. |

The fights didn't bother me as much. I tried to remember that both actors are around sixty years old. My expectations were just way too high after how excellent Mandalorian was.
This did feel like a set-up episode, so I'm probably overreacting.

Also, I had a discussion about this with my girl : Flashbacks are not dreams Boba. I've never had a dream where I relived situations that have happened to me in the past. At best, a dream would be a distorted version of something that has happened.
