but also nice to see them essentially (very loosely I’m sure) adapt the Thrawn trilogy using the cast of Rebels, which I’m totally on board with

Never pictured Pellaeon as an old man, but maybe I missed a description back in the day.
Best episode of the season by far and none of the others really compare. Next episode has a lot of threads to tie up.

Pellaeon might be the most on the nose casting yet lol I honestly haven't read the Thrawn trilogy since high school and always pictured him as like some younger guy who needed a mentor after the Empire fell. Seems like I misread hard. Doesn't Thrawn basically have somebody under his wing like this in the new books too? Brain is turning to mush as I get older. |

I thought this past week's episode was pretty predictable but I do love that Gideon is back. It seems like we are starting to trend into some sequel stuff... wouldn't be surprise if we get the creation of Snoke next season.

The whole Moff Gideon made me laugh and I’ve never felt more like scoot Evil. Oh you’re just going to tell all the mandalorians your plan in a big monologue? That’s cool. Oh instead of just shooting Din in the head you’re going to carry him somewhere else where he can be rescued? That’s cool. Everything else was real good.
