This show definitely started off with heavy fan service and I’m loving it.
Kind bummed on the lack of chopper being chopper though, probably my favorite character out of the whole SW universe.

boring as shit. even the fight scenes somehow aren’t exciting. my wife tapped out after 3 episodes and i’m watching the rest by myself but it’s a struggle there’s so many little details your missing due to not seeing clone wars/rebels. I re watched both and started ahsoka and I love it so far. i tried watching clone wars a while ago and the animation was so goofy i couldn’t do it |

I re watched both and started ahsoka and I love it so far. i tried watching clone wars a while ago and the animation was so goofy i couldn’t do it I thought the same thing about rebels but after a couple episodes I got used to it and the story ended up being more than worth it. |

Overall, I get that it was supposed to be for the Filoni heads, but that did not really give me any additional hope for the future of Star Wars like Andor did. I really don't think the actress who played Sabine was very good, though not a single one of them expressed any emotions outside of the pregnant pauses and smirks they were constantly making. Like, not a single one of them reacted appropriately to seeing Ezra again except maybe Hera. This is a person you thought was maybe dead, and that you'd never see again. Dave clearly has the same flare for giving actors direction that George did because Jesus Christ he got zero emotion out of any of them. Generally just felt flat. I had to cajole my kids to finish it because they truly had checked out of it.

He doesn’t want anything to do with the republic because he witnessed what happened at the Jedi temple. He’s telling Shin that she will do well with them and he can tell she wants to be with them. He was letting her find her path to the Republic on her own. Baylen is one of the best characters on the show and I really hope they find a suitable replacement for a second season. I think the father statue was pointing towards the worlds between or Abeloth. |

We see that shit in Star Wars all the time. Training does not always equal proficiency in the force, the best example of that being Luke. Plus Sabine has been a trained Mandalorian fighter her whole life. She's no stranger to swords and combat. I would actually have expected her to beat Shin's ass. |

I mean like... the show is really poorly written. Just awful. But it's nice to look at and entertaining. I liked that the space witch did wushu with her sword, unfortunately though I think Rosario Dawson is really good as Ahsoka, she's not exactly the most limber and even though the choreography was good they fights came off a little... Alec Guinness in EP IV.
Still looking forward to the next season though. Wish they didn't make Thrawn and absolutely toothless villain tho.
