Well, Mad God was by far one of the strangest movies Iβve ever seen. Major early Tool vibes by way of Sepulturaβs Rathamatata video.

Splinter (2008) is a fun quick movie. Practical effects and low budget in almost a single location. 80 minute solid find.

I had a huge run on Magnet (Magnolia) and Oscilloscope blind buys. That was a fun era. Gotta go back and research their libraries from them.

Finally caught Evil Dead Rise last night. I don't think I've ever seen that many split diopter shots on this side of Brian DePalma. Pretty fun movie, but it felt like it was missing something (and i'm not referring to Bruce).
I also watched the French movie Inside yesterday, and boy that movie was a doozy.

Saw 8 Saw films on Blu-ray and DVD for about $14 recently and wen't back and watched a few of them because I never wen't beyond the second.
They're definitely not good but if you watch them relatively soon after another there are some fun storylines and characters. It's dumb guy smart writing you find in typical of criminal thriller shit.
Dog brain franchise but they're pretty fun.

Anyone watch Terrified or Belzebuth on Shudder? Terrified is pretty legit. It has a great mood to it and some stand out moments. Belzebuth is decent. Has Tobin Bell, too. Will say both flicks come out swinging which I always appreciate.

I wen't with The Invitation last night and it was a tense psychthriller. Paranoia cranked up to 11 and John Carrol Lynch is in it.

He showed Don't Panic and Tigers are not afraid. So far, I haven't really cared for the movies this season and I just end up turning it off and going to bed.

Super fucking 80's theme song and little kid pajamas on a 20 year old man trying to figure out the plot to witch board a not that great movie that came out the year before. What could go wrong?

Shudder Canada wouldn't show TLDI tonight despite them advertising it on their monthly schedule...
Anyway, I might use a VPN to watch this one but I think I turned off the babadook the last time I tried watching it because the kid was too annoying.
