Big shout out to Supermassive Games for making me feel like I’m in an overlong, awkwardly paced horror movie. I’ve had a great time playing every single one of their games. The formula never gets old.

He's a fantastic actor and thought one of his underappreciated roles was in Savini's remake of NOTLD. Never saw a dude chew scenes and wasn't the lead.
Candyman is GOD tier. He was such a good dude who did so much for the genre.
Major bummer and genuinely sad RIP

Wow, incredibly bummed to hear that. My friend just worked on a film with him last year and she said he was an extremely nice guy (and a huge white sox fan)

Let's not forget his role in The Rock. Has one of that film's best lines:
"I don't like soft-ass shit".

Watched The Devonsville Terror last night and loved it!! Three young women arrive to a small religious town and are immediately suspected of being reincarnated witches by the local misogynistic townspeople.. It's really scary how current that theme felt. Anyways, turns out one of them was actually a witch and it all leads to a crazy final with exploding and melting heads, so fucking gnarly. Suzanna Love was great as the lead. I also loved her in The Boogey Man... now I will be seeking out Lommel's Olivia which she also stars in.

After seeing the Heart Eyes trailer before Heretic yesterday, thinking it’ll be a step down for my boy Josh Ruben. Happy he’s getting his shot though. Scare Me and Werewolves Within were both really good.

Couple pages late but I rewatched Body Bags last night because it's the first movie in the new season of Gourley and Rust. I forgot how fun that movie is, gotta love the Carpenter/Hooper team up.

Carpenter as the ''Cryptkeeper'' is hilarious in Body Bags. The Stacy Keach segment is probably my favorite of the lot, god I love that movie!!

Watched Uninvited last night and it ruled. A mutant killer cat hiding inside of another regular cat? My man Greydon Clark was a genius.

Been thinking of pulling the trigger for years but it seems some think the juice isn’t worth the squeeze on that one. I’d hope it’s kind of a mess in terms of performances or technical aspects to make it fun.

Been thinking of pulling the trigger for years but it seems some think the juice isn’t worth the squeeze on that one. I’d hope it’s kind of a mess in terms of performances or technical aspects to make it fun Clark is a schlockmeister through and through, I adore his brand but it isn't for everyone. The concept alone for this one is ridiculous. A Wall Street criminal mogul and his goons (played by George Kennedy and Clu Gulager -- that alone makes it worth it) invites a bunch of partying teens on his yacht while they race to the Cayman Islands in order to retrieve money before the law gets to them. Of course, Suzanne brings a killer cat on board and all hell breaks loose... but not before we get a healthy dose of partying, dancing and other stupid shenanigans. Cheap special effects and gore galore, but it all works for me. The guy who plays Walter is a real hoot, he steals every scene he's in. Anyways, sorry for rambling but if any of this sounds appealing to you, definitely check it out!!
