The Stepfather was awesome. Pretty cookie cutter but executed well. Terry O'Quinn is so damn good in it. That line "Wait, who am I here?" was so good. All time opening scene

Possession makes me mad uncomfortable. Like I'm watching something I'm not supposed to watch. Definitely an all time great in the horror genre.

Anyone else get the vibe that the friend with the ears in Dark Harvest was loosely modeled after Kenickie from Grease?

Watched The Old Dark House last night. Suuuuch a great movie. I feel so immersed in it whenever I'm watching it, like I'm sitting in the dark house with them by the fire, just watching it all unfold. Particularly love the two that end up drinking in the car and falling wildy in love with each other lol. An all-timer for me for sure.

I watched Lair of the white worm last night. It had some pretty funny moments and some rad flashback sequences that looked like bad 80s music videos.

Doing an all a Dracula Halloween watch this month. I need some reccs for the final stretch, already downed most of the big ones.
On that note Buffy kinda blows and Interview is one of the gayest bad films ever.

Hit that Renfield. It’s pretty dumb. But has Cage.

Hit that Renfield. It’s pretty dumb. But has Cage. Seent it. It was good for a few laughs and didn’t expect the over top 80s gore. Awkwafina has to go though.

Hit that Renfield. It’s pretty dumb. But has Cage. The biggest highlight of the movie is when out of nowhere they just start shitting on ska bands like the Voodoo Glowskulls and Mustard Plug. So random, but that got a huge laugh from me. I didn't hate the rest, but it was silly.

Watched My Best Friend’s Exorcism last night, it was fun I guess. I read the book a few years ago and it definitely had a Sweet Valley High version of horror going on so I’m not sure what I expected. Somehow blew through two bags of Combos during that run time.

Watching NOES 2 right now. It’s up there with H3 and Amityville II as the best sequels imo

I’ve attempted to explain why Halloween 3 rules to a lot of people by saying if it was called literally anything else and not a sequel to Halloween everyone would regard it as a classic. It’s a great movie and most of those people are morons.
Currently watching The Breach. Seems like solid Lovecraftian horror so far.
