Doing a dub feature of Urban Legends and the wild ass sequel.
Sports getting in the way of my horror watching but trying to keep up.

After last night's marvelous double bill, I'm in the mood for more Edgar Allan Poe inspired horror. Will go for a few Roger Corman/Vincent Price Poe adaptations, probably The Pit and the Pendulum // Masque of the Red Death... after all, it's not really Halloween season without some Vincent Price thrown into the mix. Yesss those are classic!

Has a really fun cast but pretty paint by numbers. I don't have any issues with it.
The sequel is definitely worth watching.

I read it as the first omen lolol. won't be seeing any new ones. I hated being scared when I was really young. I think I saw it around thirteen and it's started a life long obsession.

Found a true piece of shit on Tubi...Night Feeder
It's filmed like an old sierra pc game cutscene. If you don't want to watch the whole thing, at least watch the first 10 minutes that show a "punk" party.

And while I'm at it, I'll throw in another unsolicited recommendation for a Predator rip-off... Robowar!!!

Pearl is my least favorite story-wise but my favorite performance by her Goth was indeed really good in that one. X is my favorite horror movie of the last 10 years. Pearl was good and MaXXXine rules.

The forgotten 2005 one sucked so fucking bad BUT I can recall a pretty cool, trippy scary dream sequence. The scary dream trip in horror movies can be pretty stale but thereβs an image from it that I can I still vividly recall two decades later.
The original is still a long time favorite of mine

I came around on the X trilogy. I didn't enjoy the original, thought Maxxxine was just fine but Pearl is just perfect.
Chapo Trap House has an adjacent podcast called Movie Mindset and covered NOTLD and TCM last year, this year they did DOTD and TCM2.
I finally saw TCM2 but don't think I've seen anyone enjoy a role more than Bill Moseley as Choptop.
