Watched House last night. Movie is so good and I always forget how much depth it has even when I'm expecting it.
I have the sequels but don't remember much about them so think I might go down that road with my next few watches.

Don't think I've seen the second, but the third (which isn't really a House film) is good fun. Always happy to see the homie Lance Henriksen.

I think the first 2 Hellraisers are really good. 3-4 are alright, definitely watchable and fun. Don't have any desire to watch the others, but you never know... I liked the first 3. 4 is awful, 5 is even worse. The last one with Odessa A'zion was really good. Never watched the other chapters, don't know if i ever will.

The Substance did not have to be 2.5 hours long. Loved Demi Moore and the practical effects though.

Jennifer's Body is way better than I expected -- it captures adolescent friendships and interactions surprisingly well. And it was smarter and more insightful than I was prepared for. Looked it up on wiki afterward and realized it was some of the same folks that made Juno, which makes a lot of sense.

Watched Bad Biology, it's kind of a shame that Henenlotter couldn't get decent funding for this because this could've been just as good as his other films. Still pretty fun though.

So underrated but it’s getting more hype now Diablo Cody also wrote Tully (2018) which is an crazy ass movie if you haven’t seen it

The Rugged Man helped write it and he's her ex boyfriend in it. Remedy appears in it with him and J Zone is the dudes drug dealer. A lot of Eastern Conference rappers in it. I like that movie. Forgot Ill Bill too.

Calling in some good ass neighborhood eyetalian food tonight and carving up pumpkins. Needing something lighthearted to watch while we do it. Tucker and Dale was in our first few watches and we did ParaNorman the other night. Considering Burton’s Frankenweenie, but wondering what recommendations folks might have in this thread.

Never heard of them but they have Ghost House in the first few pics so they must be cool. basically they get a lot of cool artists, musicians, weirdos, etc. to curate playlists of movies, short films, episodes of tv shows, vintage porn and music videos to play on these long like 12 hour runs several days of the week. More often than not it is a lot of hard to find old school horror movies. Sometimes some of them are like old homemade ones from the 80's and 90's that i have no idea how they even find. I have seen some genuinely unsettling and hilarious shit on their feed. www.cathodetv.com/

Been a huge fan for years. When I worked on the midnight shift I would just keep their streams up on the tv all night. Miss those days

Lots of great recs, thank you dudes!
Most of these didn’t cross my mind, mainly just animated movies. Need to work Gremlins and The Witches into this year’s watches. They’ve never made the cut before, but I’ve also memory holed them it seems.
Monster House always makes it in. Love that one, too.
For real, thank you!
