My point was that it's completely hypocritical to allow Chinese business that doesn't benefit anyone and make up bullshit reasons to restrict the ones that would. Yeah, man, I believe we’re in inescapable late capitalist neoliberal hell and that all efforts at reform are ultimately futile and there needs to be a violent upheaval which necessarily results in the death and displacement of several thousand people, but frankly upzoning this parcel of land strikes me as indicative of ethnic cleansing.

We continually run the board on those ostensibly lib sentimental policies but they are why it's the best state to live in with the HDI higher than Germany, Denmark and Sweden.
My post was explicitly about a ballot initiative on tipping and wage workers that expands outside of the metro area. Tossing in rent control was bunk and a silly interjection.
The wheelie backpack brigade keeps stepping in to sound too smart by half and can't even keep up with their own metrics.
