This idea of Harris being “vacuous” is such a deliberate characterization ramrodded into any sort of public consciousness by the Trump misinfo machine. Just read Stephens statement and it’s like, folks understand this woman’s background right? I think most critics of Harris under a certain age that understand her record are more concerned she’s like Trump on policy and border control than anything else.
The idea she’d just be some pushover among world leaders—based on really zero evidence/inclination put forth by anyone—is the exact sorta BS this Trump GOP happily trades in.

My dipshit neighbor owns a trucking company and has the nicest house on the street. In the last year he bought a new dually, a polaris ranger utv that he drives up an down the street and is putting in a new pool (he just dug out the old one). He also has two massive MAGA flags. The Biden economy must be rough on him.

Friend in the Bay Area texts me last night, apparently Reddit sniffed out some slumlord back where I wen't to high school for stealing multiple mail-in ballots from his apartment tenants to vote for Trump/conservative causes.
Guy got on Reddit and bragged about it... turns out he used the same username for everything and he's some 71 year old realtor with a wife. That dudes about to become reeeeaaaal famous back home.

These people are obscenely wealthy compared to 80% of the country. $75,000 trucks, boats, RVs, vacations, multiple real estate properties (one guy I looked at owns 125 single-family homes). I’m sure they think it’s terribly unfair that they have to pay federal income tax that goes straight into the pockets of hordes of illegals. |

I'm definitely jaded but it seems to me that the nature of our political structure eliminates people who seem genuine or sincere from reaching a certain level.
