Let the record show my take is the opposite of Chalie’s. Big egg on my face cum November, hopefully. She’s gaining more and more momentum as the days go by. She’s not a strong candidate by any means but she will most likely win over Trump. I think she wins Pennsylvania by 1 percent and North Carolina by 2 percent. Officially not a powerful African-American star power woman, damn. |

Chalie, she’s been losing momentum and dipping in the polls. I honestly think she could do great and as long as Trump doesn’t act like a fat baby bitch on stage, it doesn’t matter. It’s kinda crazy he’s the nominee a second time, but look at the gop primary voters. But it’s flat out insane he’s polling where he is. As someone who definitely likes America more than most in this thread, this is an embarrassing country. There’s no conceivable whataboutism that I’ll tolerate to rationalize the choice to vote for him.

Also all people would really like is cost to be lowered. In this Biden economy are wages lowered? Absolutely not. Groceries are an all time high and rent in some areas is outrageous. I don't think Kamala will do much in bringing prices down with her inflation reduction act but I think if she's able to sell that she will to the American people she can gain votes.

Literally neither of them will do anything to change any of that. Maybe Trump passes some bullshit band aid-over-a-gaping-flesh-wound economic package that kicks the can down the road, so the inevitable democratic president will come along and catch flak for shit they didn't even do. But that's still just staving off the inevitable, this country will have to go through the machinations of a rebound following the pandemic. Like... I'm sorry and yeah it absolutely sucks, but just blindly pointing at people to blame for it isn't gonna expedite or change the unpleasantness.
