The argument is he didn't have to be convicted of it. Just as these apparent legal purists on the right cite the constitutions verbiage in their favor, democrats also say, "nowhere in the constitution does it say the president has to be convicted in a court of law as an insurrectionist in order to be formally disqualified from running." The Supreme Court is gonna have to settle all of this, and until they do this is all conjecture. this is my point. The democrats believe he is an insurrectionist therefore he can be treated like one. The gop can now use what the democrats are doing with trump and the ballot as foundation for some wild shit. I mean, my drug dealer is not a convict. Trump is an insurrectionist and probably meets the criteria as a foreign asset for a couple reasons(looking at you, jkush's saudi money) but all that gets held up bc convicting and punishing the most powerful person in western civilization is a bad precedent for literally anyone that's ever done anything. Real problem is that dems are inept at wielding political power, lack nuance and libs choose ideological pacifism and public masturbation. |

I’m in the one and only Naptown right now. The unigov project saved it from a lot of the pitfalls most mid-sized cities dealt with when suburbanization matured, and it has succeeded in constructing housing and generating transit-oriented development in a deep red state at levels most “blue” state cities arent. |
