No need to be crazy like me though, I’m just a photography student I am currently obsessed with the Fuji X100V..... one of my colleagues is also a photo/video head so he's always putting me onto stupid shit to waste my bread on.... also doesn't help that he also plays games on PC and is always sending me deals to graphics cards and shit lol. |

The didn't choose to organize with them simply because PSL was more active in my area and generally has a younger and more diverse membership base in my area, but that youtuber Second Thought organizes with CPUSA and I used to listen to the podcast he does with Yugopnik and Dr. Hakim(two other Marxist social media personalities) and they would always make fun of Jackson Hinkle and all the MAGA communists lol.

Now that I'm older and spend more of my free time out and about and traveling and such, I want something that is full featured, looks good, and is lightweight that I can throw in my bag and not have to worry about having a whole separate camera bag for. And obviously, everything shot on the X100V looks so good.
How much did you sell it for?

honestly, not sure you’d find a better camera for your purposes. I got rid of mine for 1800. They’re still in demand and the price has maintained well. If I ever get back into digital it’ll probably be with one of the Fuji medium format cameras. But like I said, I’m a bit extra. You could always try the x-pro if you wanted an interchangeable lens, but it doesn’t seem necessary |

tbh I think the Working Families Party might have the best shot at getting some pro-working-class candidates elected
I've noticed a stagnation in PSL meetings and events, and I don't see CPUSA picking up much steam due to marketing. (American's hate communism lol)

We’ve had a significant surge in membership but we’re definitely still reeling from the fall of the Soviet Union, from Browderite revisionism, and weird New Left holdovers. The latter two are basically gone, but have left a vacuum for cool new kids to join, which I actually am noticing. There was just simply no funding for the longest time. I actually think the party is looking ripe with potential. What impresses me about the CPUSA is the track record and that it still maintains fraternal relations with some serious parties around the world.

Yeah, during 2021 and early 2022 they had a lot of christian nationalists at their events and they definitely retweeted some of those accounts on their national profiles. I really like Yugopnik's solo material, and Second Thought's intro to socialism videos are the first thing I send to co-workers or family when they ask about my politics. I don't listen to podcasts anymore. I love being uninformed, it rocks. Yo muj, are the PSL turnouts in your area still strong? |

The point is to raise people’s consciousness beyond single issue consciousness, or economism, into a class consciousness. They don’t have to necessarily join the party to do that. The party is just the vehicle for the people willing and able to put the work in. If you are a big tent organization, you end up tripping over yourselves. Unity is important. Obviously more the merrier, but you can’t just let Democrats or Republicans join up as they please.
