I will do this in 2025 when Im done with school and the HV club of the CPUSA has impressed dmk enough for him to join by establishing stateless communism in the HV autonomous zone

so the state is an organ of class rule. the proletarian revolution happens and all existing social conditions are overturned. the state (now a "workers state" or a "dictatorship of the proletariat") is used to suppress the forces of counter-revolution (amongst other things) and class antagonisms and class as a whole ceases to exist. if we are to understand the state as the means through which one class subjugates and represses another why/how does the state then continue to exist in communism? is it not obsolete? isnt that kinda the point? how is "stateless communism" not redundant?

1. Because the state isn’t merely an organ of class rule. It’s arguable that is what it is at it’s core. But there’s a number of differences.

Marx was born not many years after Aaron Burr shot Alexander Hamilton in a duel. Politicians had duels and political parties were basically cults of personality — politicians would be loyal to Jefferson himself, not his political party. It was far more aristocratic. Suffrage was far more restricted.

Maybe most importantly, Marx did not foresee the interventionist welfare state and I doubt it is something he could’ve envisioned. Keynesianism altogether didn’t exist until long after Marx died.

2. I doubt any revolution would succeed in overturning all social conditions. I don’t know of one that has.
