Me: has house plants in every room, joys of my life, including a cactus taller than me (almost as old) and a 10 year old hibiscus tree.
Also me, depressed, neglecting basic care and maintenance in a pandemic:

House plants are cool as shit. We started with some aloe plants years ago and slowly added more. Buying a house and not having stuff to put in it we just added more and more plants.
Using the spray bottle to water plants to limit over watering and adding more properties to soil(like perilite) so it drains better is something i wish i did more often in the beginning.
Also finding a pottery outlet was revolutionary in plant collecting. If you have an Old Time Pottery near you check it out. Their shit is cheaper than anywhere ive seen and they have clearance too which makes it even more insane.

did some plant movement over the last few days. i wanted to free up this white pot to put the cardon cactus tip cutting plus the san pedro cactus in it together. finished that today. originally i upsized the big burgundy rubber plant into a yuge sized pot but it was a dumb move. i downsized it and tied it up so it stopped spreading out.

I haven’t been providing much context to pictures because I’ve been crazy busy. I’m going to take a video of what I have, and if any 9ers see something they’re interested in I would gladly ship it to you guys for a really good price.
Also, if there are any plants you’ve been looking for let me know. I can generally get anything besides the crazy rare stuff (tc monsters, raven zz, etc.)

I have been listing stuff on ebay to justify buying this 6ft Cereus Peruvianus otherwise I'm sort of out of room for plants until mt dumb fiddle leaf fig dies.

stoked for this thread. maybe i'll post some pics tomorrow of my little family but its not as cool as your guyses.
i want one of those big ass cactus bois but cacti don't like my house very much.
my spouse bought me a BOP for christmas. it's huge and very intimidating so im currently accepting all advice on how to not kill it.
also not sure where to put it because of how freakin big it is. i might have to rearrange all of my furniture.

Houseplant wizards, I need some help. Anybody got any idea what this plant is? It about 6' long, no flowers, clusters of five or four leaves kind of like clover. I picked it up off of a clearance rack at my local greenery and it's been doing well these last two years. It was full of leaves and rapidly growing over summer, then hit a rough patch in fall due to some overwatering, recovered somewhat and now it's slipping again even tough I cut back on water. It keeps losing leaves on the top even though it keeps growing longer and longer in the bottom. Since I don't even know it's name, I don't really know what it needs in terms of light and watering over winter. I got it about three meters away from a northern window, high up on a ledge, get's watered lightly once a week. Might be the dry air in here? I don't know. Don't wanna lose this little guy.

hi planty people
i bought a calathea white fusion about two months ago and turns out they're big dickheads? its dying a slow death and i dont know how to save it
also: my alocasia polly wen't dormant i guess? i ended up trimming it down to one leaf but now that leaf is pretty well dead too. the roots look fine so do i cut this leaf off and just leave the bulb in the pot until spring? or should i just leave the whole thing alone

Have lost two whole freaking ficus trees this winter.
Just threw away ficus Audrey tree. Fiddle leaf fig had been jacked up for months, threw it away two weeks ago. Both had ended up losing all their leaves. The ficus Audrey got like soft and I think it was rotting.
Plants are dumb as hell.

Got a monsters jungle going near my first place.
No where to put them after repotting and moving inside. They grew so damn much.
Anyone have any luck with citrus growing in the northeast? Have a lime tree and mandarin tree that we’re looking promising towards the end of the summer, but I’m worried being inside all winter will stall them

I suck at keeping most plants alive and thriving so I usually stick to a bunch of the little air plants (tillandsia).
I do have a shamrock that I got at a church bazaar as a kid that’s over 20 yrs old tho ☘️
