I have a friend who was partying with them and Paddy busted out some party favors out and said, "Listen, I can't share with you ... Because the amount I have left ... Is less than the amount it would take ... that should you die ... would get me over your death." this is incredible

I remember watching the drummer of Vivian Girls fall flat on her face trying to stage dive either during D4 or The Ergs at a show in 2008. That was funny.

Swinginβ Utters should have been as big as Rancid. A Juvenile Product of The Working Class is not only as good as the best Rancid albums, itβs also probably the only Fat Wreck album of that era that doesnβt sound like it was recorded in a can of beans. Maybe if they were called "Big Honking Milkbags" instead of being so coy with their name, it would've happened for them

I once drove 2 1/2 hours to see D4 in Cleveland. They played for 15 minutes and got off stage. My ex and I were bummed and left. Found out from friends who were also there (drinkers, just kicking at the bar) apparently they did 15 minutes on, 15 minutes off for like an hour and a half.

What are you favourite jams? Bands? Doesn't have to be Fat Wreck or Epitaph. Hell, it can be Kung Fu Records, or Go Kart even! Been listening to alot of No Use For A Name and Good Riddance lately. You watched the Punk Show on muchmusic back in the day right? Got into so many bands from that and buying comps at HMV. Favourites back then were Propagandhi, Guttermouth, Real McKenzies, Lawrence Arms, and US Bombs. I still revisit some of them from time to time, except Guttermouth lol. Damn I haven't thought about HMV in years, there used to be one in Boston that I wen't to all the time as a kid. Met the dude from J Geils Band there lol

idle will kill (deservedly) gets the most love, but treatment 5 is also pretty perfect for what it is.

Punk O Rama 6 was big for me and without exaggeration changed my life. Bad Religion, NOFX, Osker, Rancid, Descendents, All, Hot Water Music, Bouncing Souls. I still have my Pulley beanie that I ordered from a mail in insert from their CD. I wore my Millencolin shirt until it fell apart. I have this obsessive thing that Iβve done for two decades now where I quietly tap the double kick NOFX beat with my fingers on my leg. Iβm sure Iβll do it the rest of my life, realistically.

I think the only Epitaph band I cared about was Rancid. Didn't care for fat wreck bands. All the skater punks in my town likes fat wreck so I never took those bands as real punk. I did really liked the bands coming out of Hellcat records when they first started back in the late 90's. The Give Em The Boot comps were awesome and bands like Choking Victim, The Distillers and F-Minus are bands I still listen to on a regular basis.

Last time I saw Dillinger Four was in like 2014/15, Paddy was so drunk he got naked and was playing his penis like a tiny bass. They played like 4 songs, sounded like shit and got off stage. It was a one off show promoting Riotfest or something I think, a big bummer but ultimately hilarious. I'd still pay to see them again in a heartbeat if they played in my town.

No Use was and always will be one of my favorite bands. They just do it for me. Tony Sly's lyrics and life were so tragic.

Every 5 years or so I will jam the fuck out of Short Music...That thing got me into so many punk bands, and still holds up reasonably well I think. Iβve been playing this at work the last few days, of course the H2O song is the fucking worst thing on there.

i saw a dude with a skateboard at the mall and had only heard ...and out come the wolves - i asked him what i should buy (lol) and he said to get punk-o-rama vol 1. after that i'd buy albums and then search for cd's of bands that were thanked in the liner notes.
