What was the first Epitaph and Fat release everybody first got? My first Epitaph was Bad Religion "Generator", first Fat record was Good Riddance "Ballads from the Revolution". Def A Juvenile Prosuct of the Working Class or A Comprehensive a Guide to Modern Rebellion, 00-01ish. I made my shitty band play Weight of the World every practice, such a killer opening track

Best songs on Short Music are AFI, Dancehall Crashers and Useless ID. Definitely Dillinger Four - Farts Are Jazz to Assholes and Less Than Jake - Anchor

I've never thought of that as an Epitaph release for some reason.

I was late to Epitaph, but for Fat I started off with Survival of the Fattest, followed by Punk In Drublic.

first epitaph was the greatest songs ever written (by us), first fat was either trashed or today’s empires tomorrow’s ashes

I've never thought of that as an Epitaph release for some reason. Yeah I only really remember because I was a metalhead at the time and I had never heard of that label before then.

My bands sister band in high school tried to get sighned to Nitro Records. They sent in a demo and promo photo, all that shit. They were almost all already out of high school and we thought they were SO bigtime. Nitro turned them down but sent a really thoughtful rejection letter back, which they had framed and put up in their practice spot.

I need this full length. Meeting Tony Sly in person was one of those times, meeting a 'hero' paid off. Dude was so so so kind.
