Punkorama 1 is one of the best comps ever. Thats what got me into punk in general. I had it on cassette and we would listen to it at recess in middle school.

Punkorama 1 and the first 2 Fat Wreck comps rule. Those $4 CD comps of the era were so crucial to us kids in our teens.

What I appreciated about this comp is it had everyone from Blink 182 to Naked Aggression and the Quincy Punx. Was cool to see that. Along those lines was this. B-sides from bands like Jawbreaker and Face to Face, but then also The Pist.

I used to legit think I was getting away with something in the late 90s/early 00s with those Epitaph/Fat Wreck comps. "How can this CD with several tracks only be $5?!"

First DKM lp, Choking Victim, etc Lots of solid tracks on the Give em the boot 1 comp One of the best Rancid B sides, the best Choking Victim song, dope Swingin Utters and The Business tracks. Also opened my eyes to another side of ska outside of the 90s ska punk stuff.

Also opened my eyes to another side of ska outside of the 90s ska punk stuff. Fully agree on the Choking Victim and Rancid tracks being the gold of that comp, and I had a soft spot for The Silencers track, had no idea what the deal was about that band back in the day.

Also this is Epitaph adjacent but Hellcat records was huge for me. First DKM lp, Choking Victim, etc There is definitely some great stuff early on with hellcat, but as someone who got into punk around 2005, there were some really corny bands on that label in the late 2000s like Time Again or Left Alone

Iโve been looking for an epifat comp ska or reggae track with the name Terrance/Terry/Tarin in the lyrics going on 20 years. Please help me relive my school bus riding days
