Oh, so his manifesto is a steaming pile of racist nonsense. Another eco-fascist too? Cool. muchacho drove 9 hours specifically to go find Latinos. What an incoherent mess. The whole thing reads like a 4chan post pieced together on a mobile device. "It used to be a high school degree was worth something. Now a bachelor's degree is what's recommended to be competitive in the job market." Spoken like somebody who probably doesn't have a bachelor's degree. total 4chan dude

Yeah it's incoherent because it's just racist bullshit drivel. But to me, it looks like they're all saying the same shit. Like they'd be happily welcome on Tucker Carlson for an interview if they dressed nice and hadn't shot up a school yet.

The part of the manifesto where he favors sending Hispanic immigrants back to where they came from... but our European immigrants are totally chill and can stick around. Wat.
Like the poster above said, it's just a bunch of ill-informed gobbledygook from some knob who fancies himself as woke. He doesn't have anything remotely noteworthy to say. I'm thrilled he didn't get gunned down and gets to sit around in confinement for the rest of his days instead. He'll "find Jesus" maybe three years into his sentence and renounce everything he said in that garbage diatribe.

Like they'd be happily welcome on Tucker Carlson for an interview if they dressed nice and hadn't shot up a school yet. I suspect that post-Trump the Republican Party will factionalize into a few different distinct wings, one of which will be the "National Conservatives" which blend white identity politics and ethnonationalism with populist economic messages, concerns about the environment, and overtures to collectivism a la Tucker Carlson. It just feels like the alt-right, for all the writing about what a failure it's been, is merely the first wave in what will become a more fully fleshed out and coherent political movement. These guys who are following the Breivik ideological model are pursuing political ends beyond simply killing people. As precariousness becomes a fact of life for more and more Americans I think that the politics of the far right will become more and more attractive to certain kinds of people, especially the disaffected, lonely, white, male youth of America's former upper-middle and middle classes who inhabit the internet more than they inhabit the real world. The rhetoric about antifa, the caravans, MS-13, BLM, and the "Democrat Party" serves to show these people that the enemy isn't at the gates, they're already sacking Rome and it's now or never if the homeland is to be defended. Mobilize enough of these goons and put enough Steve Kings or Josh Hawleys in congress and you don't have lone wolves, you have the Freikorps marching down Unter den Linden, clubbing minorities and shooting "communists". I've rolled my eyes at a lot of what seemed like alarmist takes about creeping fascism in the United States, but as more of these things happen here and elsewhere in the world I've stopped sneering and have started to be alarmed, too. We're in dark times already and I think people who believe that 2020 will be some kind of political detox for the country are in for a rude awakening regardless of who wins the presidency or who flips which part of congress.

ISIS and radical Islam just gave up on attacks. Let us fuck each other up, we're doing a heck of a job of it already.

This kid just wanted to shoot people. Any other reasons are just a thinly veiled effort to create the facade that he was standing up for something.
I think that some people just never develop empathy and a small percent of them develop violent urges that they can't suppress. Unfortunately, access to fire arms makes those eventual outbursts an exponentially bigger threat than they otherwise would be.

This is what they've taught in every active shooter training I've attended for work in the past 3-4 years. It always does come off a little bleak.

What would be honest and thorough? My bet is they're pretty well-informed about Western and Japanese imperialism in their recent history and the carpet bombing of their country.

But we don't really need to get super off topic. My point was, imagine if we collectively valued our education beyond high school and beyond profit-making in this country. Something to combat this right-wing social media grift that is just feeding into everyone's alienation. Funny thing is, most Americans do value education I'm sure. It's just every thing about our system makes it an uphill battle.

on one hand i'm glad they're finally labeling some of this shit as domestic terrorism...but that also makes me worry about more regressive policy (patriot act 2: back in the habit).

Ha I get it. I've had a long running interest in the place since it's so "secretive." I used to make videos poking fun at them and now I look back at them as 100% prejudiced and shitty. Definitely embarrassing. All I'm saying is as a person living in a country with a horrific right-wing terrorism issue, might be good to look at a country without any right wingers.

Yes, but not in person. We're friends on facebook, lol. Go to the Bumpersticker and License Plate thread and then the end of the first or the top of the second page of it. ooh gotcha. sorry. it's hard to keep track of real names, board names, Instagram names. lol I hear you... I'm a music journalist and have over 2k names to try to keep track of. Needless to say, that doesn't happen... lol We almost did last year. It was in the 5/3 Center downtown. The guy had an insane amount of magazines on him. Supposedly coulda killed a hundred people with it. One woman was shot by him 12x and she somehow survived. It took three cops to take him down, which is remarkable considering how trigger-happy they're known to be here. Btw the muchacho who did it was an exceptionally crazy nutjob - people in the neighborhood he was staying in here said he'd do stuff like walk up to a stop sign and scream at it for no reason. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018_Cincinnati_shootingoh shit I remember that. like a week after I moved here. Dayton muchacho was wearing an Acacia Strain hoodie. Good grief... they played Cincinnati recently. Maybe they got moshed too hard... :e87 It's cool that a lot of people care more about fetuses than actual human beings I mean, those people are in a death cult and the same people always sabre rattling about the 2nd... Y'all nailed it!
