Laughed at a few parts, but Let's Start A Cult is not very good.

Saw 'Juror #2' tonight... better than 'Cry Macho'.
Cedric Yarbrough has a line in the movie that reminded me of his legendary line from 'Black Dynamite'. Wonder if he thought saying it was weird haha

I'm not an anime let alone animated movie guy at all but End of Evangelion sitting at 4.5/5 on Letterboxd is one of the few warranted ratings.
One of the best trailers for a movie that still confuses the fuck out of everyone.
I come back to it every few months since I first saw it. Movie a reworking of the two final episodes and a complete masterpiece. Was lucky to catch it in theaters this year.

I saw the TV glow was cool but it wasn't really psychological horror imo.

I saw the TV glow was cool but it wasn't really psychological horror imo. I enjoyed Let's All Go To The World's Fair but been putting this one off.

Did not expect to love Anora as much as I did. That shit ruled. Doubt it plays here but Sean Baker is one of the great directors of this era. While The Florida Project was really good and got recognition, Red Rocket is a masterpiece.

I thought Juror #2 was pretty good, very straightforward, yet consistently engaging. Liked how cynical it was for a courtroom drama.

'Godzilla' (1954) comes out on 4K via Criterion Collection tomorrow. All their discs are 50% off at B&N until December 1. Can't wait to get that one :D

Recent watches:
Red Rooms - Really enjoyed the first 20 or so minutes and the last 20 or so minutes. Meanders a bit too much for me. Performances are great tho.
The Wild Robot - Cute for what it is. Won’t make it into my top choices for animated films ever and the ending was pretty abrupt, but it was alright. Good couch watch.
Woman of the Hour - Predictable, even if you didn’t know much about the case and Rodney Alcala, but thought the whole mood was real solid. Enjoyed the time jumps, too. Seems like Anna Kendrick is very good at both acting in and visualizing/directing movies. Looking forward to whatever she does next.

Just watched The Anderson Tapes, not the best Lumet movie by a long shot but a very fun heist/surveillance thriller with a stacked cast and a Quincy Jones score.
