I believe US and Canada are last 2 major countries that have this as a policy? It's common in the Americas, supposedly because it was difficult to travel between these huge countries. In other places citizenship is usually passed by descent or some combination. |

bullshit. why the fuck are our roads and schools dilapidated while the middle of the state gets new roads and schools every fucking year? the red counties have been sponging off the tax bases in the corners for decades and its really starting to show. meanwhile the city taxes in philly are insane and regressive and overwhelmingly impact lower and middle class people but its the only way to cover the difference after harrisburg steals our taxes and gives them to cletus in altoona. |

Last two major releases have hung around for days, they used to be gone in minutes. His 'secondary' line, which is admittedly trash and could be part of the reason, hung around to the point that there were markdowns. The resale is completely dead. The clothes aren't moving at all.
They have four major releases in November, this isn't a situation where he realized the err of his ways.

That's a big part of what I'm saying. Neither option was good and you have to be particularly blinkered to pass judgment on the vote. I talk to people in Brazil almost every day and I haven't heard it's becoming appreciably worse. The country has been dysfunctional for years and people have been scared and apprehensive for a long time. Maybe different people are scared now. They can give half their gratitude to the PT for bringing things to this point. |
